Reporting from ____________: After a long and sometimes painful battle with dirty football uniforms, stinky socks and way to many bath towels, the family washing machine finally let go Wednesday night. It is survived by its life partner, the dryer, who is already missing its noise and endless supply of wet but clean clothes. The family is coping with the loss as well as can be expected, with the freezing temperatures hand washing in the creek is impractical.
